This fishing pier is located on the west coast of
Tanegashima in the Nishino district of Minamitane town about
12 km south of Shimama Port.
The main pier is very high and long and is good for fishing
at either high or low tide. This pier has easy access at the
end of the parking lot.
The smaller pier is much lower and safer if you plan to
bring kids, and probably good for fishing at high tide only.
This pier has access around a concrete wall at the closer
end of the parking lot and then you need to talk on another
concrete wall. Use caution at the end of this pier as the
last section has separated leaving a wide gap.
Directions from Shimama Port:
From Shimama Port go south on route 58
Turn right on route 75
Turn right on the pier access road and continue to the pier
