Minamitane East Coast Pier Number 2 This fishing pier is located on the east coast of Tanegashima in the Hirayama district of Minamitane town about 21 km southeast of Shimama Port. Directions from Shimama Port: From Shimama Port go south on route 58 Continue on route 58 which changes to route 586 in Minamitane town Continue south on route 586 Turn left on route 75 Continue north on route 75 Turn right at the road before the Hirayama post office Turn right on the pier access road and continue to the pier Note: This is not the most direct route but uses the main roads and might actually be a faster way to go as opposed to taking the small roads through the countryside.
